  DESCRIPTION:
The SDK supports developers in numerous different PC Card technologies available today. It allows direct access to PC Cards from within customer-specific applications. Data access to the PC Card is either through standard DOS FAT File System or directly to a specific memory address (byte-oriented).

Only support for MS-DOS formatted media is included in operating systems but many applications require read/write of binary data formats or Linear Flash Cards. Typical applications include but are not limited to data acquisition systems with real-time requirements or the configuration of machines and devices:
  • Access of binary data
  • Flash programming
  • Supported PC Card Drives are OMNIDrive Pro, OMNIDriveUSB Pro, PCIDrive, SoftDrive Pro
