  DESCRIPTION:
Usually, the CSM DOS-Drive is integrated as an OEM component in custom systems. For this reason, the shipping contents are limited to the essential parts. The integration into an application specific environment is usually done separately and only once. Therefore, the documentation and samples are s separate product and need to be purchased only once and only by the person or company which does the integration.

32-bit windows applications, utilizing the standard COM-ports of the PC, demonstrate the functions and capabilities of the drive.
Functions similar to the MS-DOS command processor:

  • CD, MD, RD and other
To use DOS-Drives with RS422/485 interface or non-PC baud rates (e.g. 500 kBaud), the DOS-Drive SDK can be ordered with a suitable CSM SIO-Card.

DOS-Drive CAN SDK

The DOS-Drive CAN SDK additionally contains the documentation of the CAN-layer of how the DOS-Drive protocol is mapped to the CAN bus.
