  DESCRIPTION:
OMNIDriveUSB2 Professional is a fast external PC Card drive for SRAM, ATA Flash Cards, ATA Hard Disks, and with adapter for SmartMedia Cards, CompactFlash Cards, Multimedia Cards, and SD Cards.
The compact aluminium casing offers protection for device and card. The power supply comes from the USB bus. In addition, if necessary also an AC adapter can be used.

Included is also our powerful PC Card Manager software utility which allows for:

  • Hex Editor and Binary Data Copy Utility

  • Reading of serial number and firmware revision of ATA and CF Cards
Especially for OEM and system integrators is our optional Software Development Kit (SDK) which allows for direct access to PC Cards from within a customer-specific application.

LINUX SOFTWARE SUPPORT:
Under Linux OMNIDriveUSB2 Professional is applicable as a plug-and-play drive for ATA Flash Cards, where Linux's device driver will be used.

IDEAL FOR INDUSTRIAL PCs:
OMNIDriveUSB2 Professional is also available as a compact 3 1/2" mounting version.The availability of USB cables with a length of 2m and above make the mounting in seperated operating panels possible.


DATA SECURITY:
Exceptional data security is achieved by special means against electrostatic discharge. In addition the device features a watchdog, low voltage monitoring and power-fail detection. Continuous checksum monitoring during data transfer provides for additional data security. A robust aluminum case protects the device and PC Card.
